COMET 41P / TUTTLE – GIACOBINI - KRESÁK, M97 ( OWL NEBULA ) AND M108 Taken by Uğur İkizler on March 22, 2017 @ Mudanya - Bursa / Turkiye



According to 41P / Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresák comet star gaze, it passed near M 97 and M 108 around the majestic constellation.
The diameter of the comet is 1.4 kilometers. Is a member of the Jupiter comet family discovered by Horace Parnell Tuttle on May 3, 1858 and re-discovered by Michel Giacobini and Ľubor Kresák in 1907 and 1951 respectively.
The period is 5.42 years, and on April 12, 2017, it was 156.7 million km. Be in the distance.
As of 22 March 2017 at 03:00, the distance to the Earth is 22.5 million km. Brightness is 7.5 magnitude and the speed in orbit is 36.6 km./sec.
